Meet Our Team

Victoria Ward - Principal Solicitor


Victoria completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours at Griffith University in 2013 and completed her Practical Legal Training at QUT, obtaining entrance into the Golden Key Society for Academic Excellence before being admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme and High Court in 2014.


Since being admitted, Victoria has worked in boutique Criminal and Family Law firms on the Gold Coast and has focused on complex Criminal Law Matters, Domestic Violence Matters and Family Law Matters. Victoria prides herself on being able to represent clients in all three areas of law. She can prepare your case with a holistic view so that each area is carefully considered to help achieve your best outcome.

Ebonie Waterman - Paralegal


Ebonie is a Paralegal at EV Law with over ten years' experience in the education sector, where she worked as a teacher, specialising in children's learning, development, and wellbeing. Through her professional work with children and families, as well as her personal experience within family law system, Ebonie developed a strong interest in supporting families navigating complex legal and personal challenges. Ebonie is currently studying Course in Community Justice Services (Justice of the Peace [Qualified]) and is enrolled in, and is completing her Bachelor of Laws. She brings a compassionate, client focused approach to her work, with particular understanding of matters involving children, education, and family dynamics.

Abby Cherry - Administration

After completing year 12 in 2023, Abby joined EV Law as an administrative assistant supporting the legal team. In addition to working at EV Law, Abby is completing her bachelor of veterinary technology and enjoys reading books in her spare time.
